DAYNTREk products are designed to be worn, used and enjoyed outdoors. Proper care will help maintain the appearance, comfort and performance of your garments for longer.
Always review the product care guide tag on each garment before washing, drying or ironing, as care requirements may vary depending on the fabric and construction.
WASHING
Follow the washing instructions provided on the product care guide tag.
As a general guide:
- Wash garments according to the recommended temperature.
- Use a mild laundry detergent where possible.
- Avoid overloading the washing machine.
- Turn darker or brighter garments inside out where appropriate to help reduce fading.
- Close zips, buttons and fastenings before washing.
- Do not wash garments more frequently than necessary.

FABRIC SOFTENERS
We generally recommend avoiding fabric softeners and conditioners unless specifically permitted by the product care instructions.
Fabric softeners can leave a coating on some fabrics that may affect moisture-wicking, breathability, odour control or other performance properties.
DRYING
Where possible, line dry your garments in a shaded or suitable area.
Always check the product care guide tag before using a tumble dryer.
Avoid excessive heat, as it may cause shrinking, fading or damage to certain fabrics and finishes.
For technical or performance garments, following the recommended drying instructions is particularly important to help maintain the garment's performance.
IRONING
Many DAYNTREk garments require little or no ironing.
If ironing is permitted, always check the iron symbol and temperature recommendation on the product care guide tag before ironing.
Do not iron a garment if the care tag indicates that ironing is not permitted.
WATER-REPELLENT & TECHNICAL GARMENTS
Some DAYNTREk garments may feature water-repellent or other technical finishes designed to improve performance in outdoor conditions.
Over time, washing, wear and exposure to the elements can reduce the effectiveness of these finishes.
To help maintain performance:
- Follow the washing and drying instructions on the garment care tag.
- Avoid fabric softeners unless specifically recommended.
- Keep technical garments clean, as dirt and oils can affect performance.
- Where required, consider using a suitable technical wash or water-repellent treatment designed for the specific fabric.

STORAGE
Before storing your DAYNTREk garments:
